Delivery

Many of Fresher Choice’s partners offer delivery within a certain radius of the vendor’s location. If your selected vendor offers delivery, it will be indicated as available at checkout.  

In some locations, Fresher Choice offers professional delivery for partners through the Harvest Carrier program. This is a limited option only available in Connecticut and Rhode Island currently. 

If you have selected delivery, it is recommended that you are  home within the delivery window to ensure the freshness of your order.

Pickup

If you have selected to pick up your order, pay attention to the time window you have to do so. Farmers generally keep a strict schedule for their days and have set their pickup windows carefully to fit with their daily jobs. If you need to get in contact with your farmer, reach out to Fresher Choice or locate your farmer’s number at the Learn More page in their online store. 




Partnered Pickup Location

A Partnered Pickup Location is a place that either Fresher Choice or a vendor has partnered with to be a pickup spot for orders. If you have selected a Partnered Pickup Location, there may be special instructions located in your current order details and your email receipt. Read over those instructions to make sure you properly pickup your order.

Order in Process for Farm market - This is located in your Farm Market order details page and will be available after you checkout. 

 

Order Received

This indicates the time your order has been received by the vendor


Weight and Price Confirmation

Like a farmers market or butcher shop, some items are weighted post purchase. If you have ordered an item that fits into this category, an authorized hold will be placed on your card until the farm updates your order weight. Once your farmer updates the order weight, your card will be charged the adjusted amount. 


Ready for Pickup/ Delivery

This indicates whether your order is ready for pickup or delivery and is set by your farmer.

CSA Subscription

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A CSA is often a subscription that is pre-purchased as an investment for your farmer to buy seeds, feed and other items to grow and raise the products that will be added to your food order monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly. 

Getting my delivery

Your delivery will generally be completed by your farmer within the specified delivery window set by the farmer. 


How is the delivery fee charged?

If you have selected delivery, a delivery fee set by your farmer will be charged to your card on the selected order fulfillment day.

How long does it take to ship my order?

Handmade items can take up to 6 weeks to reach your doorstep. 

Is my order handmade?

If there is a problem with your order or you would like to return an item, please contact customer service and Fresher Choice will help solve your issue. Because most of the items are handmade by the artisan, Fresher Choice does not offer a money back guarantee.  We will work with your artisan vendor to help rectify any issues you may have had as best as we can.
